arai helmet I wear an Arai Qauntum/f (L)

It's great in just about every way but, I'm not in love with Arai as a company because of the way the treated the online retailers when Arai decided to ban internet sales. So, I'll be trying on some new brands next time.

Teknic Lightning I have a few pairs of Teknic Lightning leathers (44 & 46)

There's better leathers out there but, they were cheap and do the job (actually, they were free but, that's another story). If I ever got the money together I'll probably get a custom suit from Zooni or Helimot. I also Have an irrational aesthetic desire for a pair of the Alpinestars V4 Leathers. [Patch Pockets]

Teknik Gloves Teknic Speedstar Gloves (XL)

I just like these gloves! There's probably better one's out there in terms of crashing but, none of 'em "do it" for me.

Sidi Chromo Sidi Vertebra Chromo Boots (46)

Love 'em they're comfy and take a beatin'. I tried the Alpinestars SMX Plus boots and they were just too rigid for me. I assume that the same would be true for the Sidi Veterbra Race boots. So, just the plain Vertebra's for me!

Sidi Airback I have a Spidi Air Back back protector. It's comfy and does the job - Heck, I even got ran over once while wearing it and I wasn't hurt at all.

Here's a couple that I'll look at next time:

Frey Pucks Frey - Daytona Cermaic Sliders

These are freakin' awesome! They're normal black plastic pucks with 4 ceramic inserts and they last FOREVER! If you're someone like me that goes through a normal set of pucks per weekend there's really no other choice. At $120 they're a little pricey but it's worth it.
The velcro is also amazing. In fact, you may need a crow bar to get 'em off again. Helimot European is the only company I know of that carries them. More...

Ear Plugs Ear Plugs - Don't leave home without 'em

I buy 'em in boxes of 100/200 from sharpesafety.com and that'll last me a couple years. I use the Max Lite's just because they have the highest decibel rating I could find. The cord's nice so I can attach 'em to the zipper on my leathers.
