GT250R Hyosung GT250R
New to the tiny-sport class in the USA, it stirred alot of interest in the 250 Paddock; who have been desperate for a modern 4-stroke 250 sport bike for decades.

At first this bike appears to fit the bill with its modern frame and styling, upside down forks and 17 inch wheels but, the air cooled engine, 5-speed transmission, 370lb dry weight and reported top speed of under 90 mph would appear to leave it panting far behind the venerable Kawasaki EX250.

Nobody has taken up the gauntlet and raced one these yet but, who knows? Maybe the right rider can take advantage of its (possible) better handling and more comfortable size to put it on the podium. I'd certainly love to try if the opportunity presented itself.
