2008 Honda Metropolitan CHF50 Specifications
Capacities  Dimensions  Engine  Suspension  Tires

We've been looking for a starter bike for Kristine and this is one of her favorite candidates. It's cheap (MSRP $1,899), easy to ride and has a trunk big enough for a full faced helmet or some groceries/text books. The 80-100 mpg doesn't suck either.

However, it's only good for 40 mph (claimed) which means hanging out in the bicycle path with all its tire popping goodness from time to time. It's also light enough that theft may be an issue. This may be compared to the SYM Mio.
